What languages are supported?
English only. The tool uses Tesseract.js with the English training data to keep downloads small and recognition fast. For Chinese, Japanese, or other non-Latin scripts, use a dedicated language-specific OCR tool.
Is the image uploaded to a server?
No. OCR runs entirely in your browser using Tesseract.js. Your images stay on your device.
