How secure is the encryption?

The tool uses AES-256-GCM, a standard approved by NIST and used in banking, military, and government applications. Without the password, the encrypted text is computationally infeasible to crack.

What happens if I forget the password?

There is no recovery option. If you lose the password, the encrypted message cannot be decrypted — that's what makes the encryption secure.

Is my text sent to a server?

No. Encryption and decryption happen entirely in your browser using the Web Crypto API. Your text and password never leave your device.
